DeMolay teaches many important lessons, from how one should live to be a servant and a citizen, all the way to character building and leadership. Keeping this in mind, DeMolay places importance on honoring those to whom honors are due, and there is no better representation of this than the degree of Chevalier.
On January 31st, 2009, New Castle Builders Chapter took a special moment to recognize State Junior Councilor, Denny Lennox (Son of Brother Scott Tressler) for his hard work in promoting the DeMolay program in the New Castle area. Denny was honored with the Degree of Chevalier in a ceremony led by "Dad" Rodney Boyce with help from many Chevaliers from around the state. Congratulations to Denny and New Castle Builders Chapter for a job well done and an honor well deserved.
New Castle Builders Chapter, Order of DeMolay, was well represented at the 2008 Pennsylvania DeMolay Convention held in Tannersville, PA July 17-20. We are proud to announce New Castle DeMolay has three State Officers for the 2008-2009 year;
Dennis Lennox, PMC-MSA was elected State Junior Councilor
Nicholas Davidson, was appointed Western State Orator
Blake Hedges, PMC, was appointed Western State Fifth Preceptor
Additionaly, Luke Dufour of Steel City Chapter, and Grandson of Brother Merle Hall, VSA, 32°, was appointed Western State Third Preceptor.
New Castle Assembly #1, International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, was well represented at the 2008 Pennsylvania Rainbow Grand Assembly held in Altoona, PA July 2008. We are proud to announce New Castle Rainbow has four Grand Officers for the 2008-2009 year;
Grand Chaplain, Grand Service, Grand Patriotism, and Grand Representative to Florida Rainbow.
Luke Dufour, Grandson of Brother Merle Hall, VSA, 32°, was installed as Master Councilor of
Steel City Chapter, Order of DeMolay on July 6, 2008.

Ill: William L. McCarrier, 33º, was unanimously approved by DeMolay International to receive the Honorary Legion of Honor for his service to the Order!
Dennis Lennox, PMC-MSA, son of Brother Scott Tressler, 32°, was unanimously approved by DeMolay International to receive the Degree of Chevalier for his outstanding service to the Order! Dennis is a Past Master Councilor of New Castle Builders Chapter, Order of DeMolay, and is a recently approved Representative DeMolay!
