Sovereign Grand Commander, Ill. John Wm. McNaughton , 33°

John William
McNaughton of Fort Wayne, Indiana, became Sovereign Grand Commander on
April 22, 2006. McNaughton had been serving as Grand Lieutenant
Commander since August.
The new Grand Commander is a graduate of Indiana University, where he earned a degree in forensic studies.
Following graduation he was a detective with the Fort
Wayne Police Department for ten years before joining his father in the
operation of the All Rite Distributing Company, Inc., in Fort Wayne in
1983.
He is currently president of the firm.
A Freemason since 1974, McNaughton was Master of
Maumee Lodge No. 725, Fort Wayne. In the Scottish Rite Valley of Fort
Wayne, he was the presiding officer of the Lodge of Perfection in 1996.
He became an Active Member of the Supreme Council's governing board in
1998. He is a member of the York Rite in Fort Wayne and Mizpah Shrine
Center.
McNaughton is a past president of the Fort Wayne
Rotary Club and has been active in the Trinity Presbyterian Church,
where he has served as treasurer, trustee and deacon.
The new members are cordially invited to witness additional degrees
during the Spring 2010 Class and through the years to come.
